Joaquin...slow down little one! When did you go from needing to be swaddled before bed to scooting around the living room in your walker? My heart aches yet flutters every time you learn to do something new. You are a very bright and handsome little man. I am so lucky to have you in my life.

I recently got a new phone, and I'm kind of in love with the Vignette app, these photos are just really neat and cute instant editing soo time efficient without sacrificing quality. I have serious plans for filling my house with these fun square photos!

Since I began blogging, I have posted Joaquin's monthly progress and photos. I missed months five to six, and seven just creeped up on us.

6 months

7 months

In the last few months, the little one has learned to sit on his own for a good 5-10 minutes, and drag (almost crawling!) himself around. He is feeling a bit more bashful and sometimes afraid around strangers. Joaquin is eating a bit of mashed up mama + daddy food instead of strictly "baby food." It is really hard to believe it's been over half a year since I gave birth. Very bittersweet.

Here's to 7 months and beyond…..Love you, little one.
